Secured By Design Windows

Secured By Design is a UK Police Initiative aimed at reducing crime. It is run by ACPO the Association of Chief Police Officers. ACPO crimpe prevention initiatives is a not-for profit company and was established in 1999 to manage Secured By Design and similiar crime prevention initiatives at a national level. It is entirely owned by The Association of Chief Police Officers with Chief Police Officers on the board of directors. Secured By Design is the UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of "designing out crime" by use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a range of applications. Research shows that Secured By Design can reduce burglary by 50% and criminal damage by 25%. It' supports one of the government's key planning objectives - the creation of secure, quality places where people wish to live and work.
